Last weekend's Summer Party was one to remember! 🌞🎉 The fun kicked off in spectacular style with our colour run. There was plenty of laughter (and plenty of colour!) as kids—and more than a few grown-ups—joined in the chaos. CRICKET WEEK
Our annual cricket week is back this summer 6-10 July. Nazeing Common are once again touring Sussex and we look forward to hosting them, always a good laugh! On Wednesday we will flip over to stoolball as we welcome the Pulborough Stoolball Club to the Rec in the evening for a fun, friendly game of stoolball. SOFTBALL FESTIVAL
We're hosting a Softball Festival on Sunday, August 23rd at the West Chiltington & Thakeham Cricket Club. It's a multi-team tournament, but if you just want to try out softball or hang out and watch, you're more than welcome. If you want to play but don't have a team, just give us a shout. Local clubs have already been informed about the festival and will be signing up teams. We're still figuring out the exact schedule and format, as it depends on how many people join in, but

SUMMER PARTY
Join us this June for our spectacular summer party at West Chiltington & Thakeham Cricket Club on Saturday, 27 June. The festivities will kick off with a cricket match as the First XI takes on Haywards Heath. After the cricket concludes, but not before 6 pm, there will be a color run for the kids—and adults who want to participate—plus a bouncy castle, followed by a BBQ with live music from The Other's Brothers (Neil North's band). PRESIDENT'S DAY
This year President's Day will be Friday 10 July and to mark the occassion we are welcoming the MCC to West Chiltington to play a game against a President's XI. Proceedings start from 11am and there will be a lunch for those lucky enough to be invited! The bar will of course be open and a BBQ going in the evening. Hope you can join us!

BEN HOGAN IS OUR NEW SUSSEX SLAM CAPTAIN

The fixtures for many of our women's cricket teams have been release this week and we are able to confirm them below. WEALD WILLOWS This includes our brand new joint venture with the women of Slinfold CC - the Weald Willows! We will compete in the Sussex Women's Cricket League as part of the Weald Willows in Division 2 Central . WELCOME OLIVER WHITEHEAD
More overseas news and this time it's for the First XI! Our First XI overseas for the 2026 season is South African batting all-rounder, Oliver Whitehead. Ollie hails from Cape Town and is currently contracted to Western Province in South Africa's state system. A schoolboy star for SACS High School, Ollie made a number of appearances in the Cape Premier League for the Sixers U17 side. His performances for the school and for Western Province U19 were enough to cement his place
