BEN HOGAN IS OUR NEW SUSSEX SLAM CAPTAIN

We’re pleased to announce that Ben Hogan will take on captaincy of the men’s Sussex Slam side this season.

The Sussex Slam is a competition that the club values highly with its more social offering allowing cricketers of all abilities to compete without the pressure that comes with Saturday league cricket. This year, as with last year, we will be entering the Shield competition which has restrictions on who can play based on what level they usually play in league cricket – which is perfect for our approach to this competition – no pressure, inclusive cricket.

With Ben taking over the reins, George Bryans will be stepping down from the captaincy role and the club would like to take this opportunity to thank George for his contribution over the years.

Ben is in the process of arranging dates for our group stage fixtures and these will be announced soon!
