The cricket club was fortunate enough to recieve a special visit from the Air Ambulance on Tuesday and host a thank you reception for approx. 100 local supporters of the Air Ambulance charity. It was followed by an update presentation by the Medical Director to inform supporters of current and future work done by Air Ambulance.
The event was organised by our Treasurer Mike Charman who has been a fundraising volunteer for nine years and was there to help out and provide local knowledge where required.
It turned out that the other two volunteers there now live in West Chilt! There were also five staff members present from the administration base at Rochester Airport. The helicopter flew in from Redhill Aerodrome where two other helicopters are based.
