Those not on our club WhatsApp group may be unaware that Jason is arranging next year’s autumn tour and we are heading to Spain...
We have arranged to play two games against a club called Sporting Alfa’s. Their ground is in Spain 35 miles from Alicante airport in a town called Albir. Their ground, the Woodbridge Oval is situated 250m from a nice beach and 200m from the proposed hotel. More info on the club can be found here https://www.sportingalfascc.com
Flights
We fly out on Thurs 9th Sept from Gatwick at 9:10am and return on 12th Sept at 20:25. Both flights are with British Airways.
Accomodation
The hotel is booked/reserved. We have eight apartments - room sharing but no bed sharing needed (unless you want to). Hotel info: Gastro Group Hotel https://www.gastrogrouphotel.com/en/contact-us/
Cost
The cost will be close to £250. As yet we have been unable to sort transfers but will do so shortly and there will be payment needed for the games.
The Important Bit
Jason has reserved 20 seats with BA which can be amended and has 10 days to finalise. So he needs 100% confirmation by 6th Jan and a deposit of £50.
A number of people confirmed a few months ago but please re-confirm to Jason by email or whatsapp. Your deposit should be paid into the club account but don’t do that until Jason tells Mike. The reference will be “Your name” and “Tour 2021”. Please ask if you need the club account number.
If you are not on the list yet but still want to come let Jason know by the 6th Jan. You don’t have to play to come on tour but we do need 11+ players for obvious reasons.
The remaining balance will need to be paid in the summer. If the flights are cancelled then we get a credit or cash back. The hotel can be cancelled one week before we arrive with no penalty.
