DOM GOODMAN JOINS CHILT AS OUR COUNTY PRO

We are really delighted to welcome Dominic Goodman to West Chilt. Dom will be one of our Sussex CCC pros for the 2026 season, the other being (of course) Charlie Tear.

A first for WCTCC, but not unusual for SCL Prem sides, Sussex have a long tradition of assigning professional players to clubs in the top division so that they can continue to play cricket when not required by the county, and in turn support grass roots cricket by lending their support to general aspects of club life.

Born in Kent, 24-year-old Dom made his first-class debut for Gloucestershire in 2021 and has since played 16 matches taking 37 wickets, as well as nine List-A games. He joined Sussex last month.

Whilst we obviously wish Dom all the very best in Sussex colours we also hope that, in addition to Teary, Dom will be around to play some games for Chilt in the summer.
