Huge news this and a real moment of history for the club.
For the first time we have entered a team into the Sussex Women’s Cricket League. The women and girls side of the club has been growing at a rate of knots and last year we entered two teams into the Sussex Slam. This year, with the experienced gained last season, we felt now was the right time to enter a side into the SWCL.
We have previously played cricket in the SWCL but as a joint effort with St James’s Montefiore some years ago. This time we’re going it alone!
We have entered into Division 2 Central and will be pitted against Aldwick, St James's Montefiore, Horsham IIs, Bognor Regis IIs and Brighton & Hove IIs.
The fixtures have already been released. We begin 18 May.
