UMPIRING COURSES

We are hosting a FREE umpiring workshop at Thakeham on 30 November. Run by West Sussex Association of Cricket Officials (WSACO) this workshop is aimed towards new umpires who would be interested in umpiring club cricket matches. It's not a formal ECB course so don't worry, no tests or qualifications etc, but you would require knowledge of the laws of cricket. It's an excellent starting point for new umpires.

In addition, the workshop will also be run in Feb next year at Arundel Castle Cricket Ground.

Please also note, the WSACO will come to us and run a two-hour basic 'introduction to umpiring' workshop for parents and coaches if we have enough take-up/demand. Again, get in touch if any of this sounds useful.
