U9/10s SUCCESS IN CUP FINALS

A huge congratulations to our amazing team today who took part in the ‘Sussex Softball Under 9/10’s Cup Finals’ at the iconic Arundel Castle Cricket Club.

Dominik, Hugo, Joseph, Lucas, Monty & Tristan played five games- winning against Hurstpierpoint and Heathfield which secured them a place in the quarter finals where they beat Storrington. They then went on to play Southwater in the semi-final who they also won against. This meant they secured themselves a place in the finals against a very impressive Goring.

The boys fought hard and did themselves very proud, but in the end Goring took 1st place with Chilt achieving an amazing 2nd place.

They should be hugely proud of their achievement as they played fantastic cricket against the counties best U9/10 teams. In fact- one of the Sussex coaches came up to them at the end and kindly said “Boys you should be be very proud of yourselves today. You are the 2nd best U10 Team in the county!”

Well done boys and thank you to the parents and family members who came along to support and to Ted for scoring.
