VACANCIES

SENIOR PLAYER & ASSISTANT COACH

REQUIREMENT

West Chiltington & Thakeham Cricket Club is seeking the services of an experienced UK-based player with the appropriate coaching qualifications to support the club for the 2023 season.

ABOUT THE CLUB

West Chiltington & Thakeham CC, based in an attractive village location in the heart of West Sussex, is an ambitious club with a genuine community ethos. Through hard work and dedication, led by a determined committee and an army of volunteers, the club has grown significantly in recent years, both on and off the field. This has led to new achievements for the club at both senior and junior levels which, bolstered by an ever-growing social scene, provides an excellent platform for the club’s aspirations.

The club runs four senior teams in the Sussex Cricket League, a women's team in the Sussex Women’s League, a mid-week side in the Sussex (T20) Slam, two Sunday friendly teams. In addition, the club has a large junior section for boys and girls with ages ranging from U5’s through to U18s, who play in their own junior leagues and tournaments.

The club has two well-appointed grounds each boasting new clubhouses with excellent coaching facilities including new net lanes currently being installed at our principal ground in readiness for the 2023 season.

You can find out more about what’s happening at the club on our website www.wctcc.co.uk and on our social channels Facebook , Twitter and Instagram.
